Why
are we "GROOVIN' For The CURE"?
Well, we are here to save boobies. Yes,
I said it, boobies. Oh come on, we all
have 'em…even boys. Seriously though,
this event is in support of the Canadian
Breast Cancer Foundation, CIBC Run For
The Cure but there will be no running
at this event. As a matter of fact,
this is the most fun you will have at
a fundraising event. Two hours of heart-pumping
music, lights, energy, and a few hundred
of your new closest friends. Oh, and
prizes too.
What
the heck is ZUMBA (pronounced ZOOM-bah)?
It is a Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow,
calorie burning, dance fitness-party™.
Feel the music and let loose. Exercise
in disguise. We bring you the party
and you leave healthier, happier, and
wanting more! It is one of the most
effective, total body reshaping fitness
classes you will ever experience and
it is for all ages, all shapes, and
all fitness levels. No joke, anyone
can participate and they usually do.
It's contagious.
Some of us self-professed Zumba-fanatics
have teamed up with the fantabulous
gang at the Edmonton Event Center -
yes the one at West Edmonton Mall -
and are bringing you the FUNDRAISING
EVENT OF THE YEAR. No stuffy suits,
no balls gowns, heck, you don't even
need to do your hair if you don't want
to. We would appreciate if you did brush
your teeth though. Come dressed in comfy
clothes and your favourite weekend sneakers
to groove with us. You can go all out
and show us your PINK flair or wear
your favourite Zumbawear - we'll be
wearing ours! We promise to introduce
you to the hottest fitness craze the
world has seen in decades. You will
leave exhilarated (and sweaty) and will
forever want to follow the Zumba mantra:
"Ditch the workout, join the party!"
Just don't tattoo it anywhere, that
would just be weird. All in the name
of a good cause. 'Cuz, well, boobies
are important.
